Annette is a leadership and career coach and trainer. She owns Present Training. Annette has a background in the financial world.  She is director of the Foundation Global DreamWeb that gives inner leadership training to young people in the Netherlands and Lebanon.

MPHO TUTU VAN FURTH

Executive Director

The Reverend Canon Mpho Tutu van Furth is an episcopal priest, an artist, an author, an accomplished public speaker and retreat facilitator. Mpho has had many roles in non-profit leadership.  She was the founding executive director of the Desmond & Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation.

MARTIJN VAN DER KUIP

Treasurer

Martijn van der Kuip (MD, PhD) is a pediatrician and head of the department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Rheumatology and Immunology of Amsterdam Medical Centers; Emma Childrens Hospital. As a doctor he is involved in outpatient and clinical pediatric care and teaching. As a researcher, together with Marceline Tutu van Furth, he collaborates with the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa with tuberculous meningitis as research topic. He was raised with a Christian and socialistic background with his mother being a nurse and his father a teacher. In his personal life he is the father of two daughters and has also two stepsons with his partner.

MARCELINE TUTU VAN FURTH

Founding Board Member

Marceline is a full-time professor in Pediatric Infectious Diseases in the Amsterdam University Medical Center. 
I am involved in patient care; teaching medical students and training residents in pediatrics, and educating colleague pediatricians on topics which are important in the field of pediatric infectious diseases. 
My research focuses on bacterial meningitis from bench to bedside. As an honorary professor of Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town I train South African PhDs in research. Tuberculous meningitis and HIV are the two main research topics which are examined in South-Africa. 
With the knowledge obtained during my MBA Health I am able to initiate innovative projects which will have a global impact. 
I like to help people to explore what their professional dream island looks like and how they can reach it.

CHRISTINA MORENO

Board Secretary

Christina Moreno is a human rights lawyer, founder & CEO of She Matters and strong advocate for women's rights. She was selected as a Thompson Reuter's Foundation Trust Conference Scholar for her work on women's empowerment, and was named a 'Persons to Watch for Justice Innovation' by HiiL Innovating Justice. Christina has published and spoken on various topics related to international law and women's empowerment.
